Lovely cotton unisex t-shirt

We know this is more pricey than a t-shirt picked up in a high street haul, but there’s a reason for that.

All Birdsong tees are made with organic cotton in factories that are all Fair Wear certified for fair labour practices. When the plain shirts get to Britain, they are hand embroidered or printed by women who have faced various barriers finding other employment.

The skill level of the makers shows in the product. Plus, it just looks cool, doesn’t it?

We realised we had never really known what a good quality T-shirt felt like until we pulled on one from Birdsong. They hang well and they will last.

Materials: Tees are 100% organic Indian cotton with 90% reduced C02, and Fair Wear certified for fair labour practices.

Base tees manufactured in Tamil Nadu, Southern India by Continental.  Then embroidered with UK women’s groups to cut down on air miles. All the women we work with are paid a London living wage, or choose to donate their revenue back to the charities that support them. They also work in the comfort and safety of their women’s group or charity. That often means they’re around counsellors, friends and professional mentors.
