Keffiyeh white planter

£60.00

This planter is named after the keffiyeh scarf and features a pattern that is traditionally used on fabric.

Each ceramic piece is hand moulded and hand painted by someone who has been displaced from their home in Palestine and is now living in a refugee camp within the country. Every artisan is paid a living wage by Love Welcomes and profits are pushed back into the scheme.

As with many handmade ceramic items, the exact shade of the glaze and form of the vase many vary slightly. We love that each piece is unique.

15.2cm tall

The idea of ‘welcome’ is central to everything we do at Different Kind - we provide items to make your home into a welcoming space, or to send your friends to show how welcome they are in your life.

And for us, that generosity of spirit has to extend into the wider world: refugees and migrants are already in a vulnerable position and have survived a great deal. To fail to offer a place of safety is barbaric.  This is why we fully support the work Love Welcomes do, and why we truly love their name.

Hand wash, not dishwasher safe. 15.2cm tall.
