Hand-rolled beeswax candles

£12.00

We’re minding our beeswax, quite literally. We love the elegant simplicity of these beeswax dinner candles. Bermondsey Street Bees produce honey, each one is from a single source and from hives where the bees are encouraged to thrive and not just produce ever-higher honey yields.

The beeswax used here is another product from their well-run hives. In fact, they know so much about good bee keeping that they contribute to global bee research and advise businesses and governments.

It’s the lack of fuss and ornament that make these candles so beautiful. They make us yearn for a house full of clean Scandinavian design made from natural materials.

We love the work Bermondsey Street Bees do too, helping others to understand why we need bees so badly (according to Greenpeace, over 90 per cent of the world’s food is pollinated by bees). Bermondsey Street Bees run workshops on bee keeping and biodiversity and give a portion of their profits to bee-based charities.

2 x 34cm candles. Will fit standard candlesticks. Made from 100% natural beeswax.
Please note, the colour of the beeswax varies according to the season.
