Pine cone candle

£6.00
This pretty beeswax candle is poured into a pinecone shape but it smells, very faintly, of honey.

This candle is natural and simple and because of that will fit happily into most homes.

We can’t help it. We’re drawn to candles like moths to a… okay, back to the drawing board with that metaphor.

However, we are very sensibly drawn to the work of Camphill Village Trust. They are a national charity supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism. They also support several of their service users “to discover the unique skills and talents everyone has” and then to start creating, making and learning.

The items produced are utilitarian, but have that pleasing ‘just right’ look. The homeware equivalent of the perfect white t-shirt.

Candle is 100% beeswax and made by hand by residents at Camphill Village Trust’s Botton Village in Yorkshire.
