It’s no secret that the coffee supply chain is a male-dominated one. But did you know that at least 70% of the work that goes into producing coffee is carried out by women? GWGC, an independent female-founded roastery based in Wiltshire, recognised the inequalities women face in coffee and set out to help create an industry where women feel seen and celebrated. They focus solely on buying coffee from female producers, sharing their stories to the world, and giving them the recognition they rightly deserve for the incredible work that they do.
