Determined: A Different Kind Of Art Show

£0.00
For one night only Different Kind will transform into a contemporary gallery
showcasing original paintings and crafts made by those with learning difference.

The high street store in the heart of Cirencester will become a vibrant storytelling
space and creative showcase for individual artists whose work has featured in the
Royal Academy, Scottish Craft 25 and other venues.

All artworks will be for sale and include high-value original paintings, ceramic one offs, woven throws and pieces that reflect the diverse practices and personal stories of their makers, as well as affordable cards, ceramics and prints.

Some of the artists will be there on the night to talk about their works. Artists
featured will be from Garvald Makers Edinburgh, Arthouse Unlimited, Ruskin Mill,
Project Art Work Hastings and Camphill Village Trust Newnham-on-Severn.

It’s about showing that Different Kind is a place where stories are told and
everyone is welcome.” - says Alex Young store manager at Different Kind.
"DETERMINED places fine art in an accessible, community-rooted setting. It isn’t just about what's on the walls, it’s about who gets to walk through the door".

Cheese and wine will be provided from four amazing learning difference makers
including wine from The Fifth Trust, award winning cheese from Camphill Village
Trust Botton, cheese & walnut biscuits from Step & Stone and treats from Yellow
Submarine bakery.
