Denim bag

£70.00
People will stop you on public transport to ask about your Sackito bag. It’s interesting and original without being too try-hard, because each one is handmade from recycled coffee sacks. It’s big and sturdy, with handles that will fit over your shoulder and an interior zip pocket.

No two Sackito bags are identical. They are all made by prisoners at HM Pentonville to templates created by designer Maria Skelly. Each bag makes the most of the design elements already in place on the coffee sack fabric. This particular model is made from denim sacks and fully lined.

Sackito bags help prisoners to gain skills and experience whilst earning a wage. They also prevent waste, converting empty coffee bean sacks in to tote bags that will last a life time. And they look cool. What’s not to love?

Our CEO has used the bag we got as a sample nearly every day. It’s big enough for a laptop, a book, various papery things and all of the samples of other products that need to go from one meeting to the next. What will you use yours for?

Dimensions: 48 x12 x 38 cm

Handle strap length: 56cm

Made from 100% cotton

Lining will be in either dark blue or blue gingham
