Recycled cotton-mix socks

£15.00

Socko pretty much encourage you not to buy their socks. At least, not more than once. They even provide a little darning kit to help extend the life of every purchase.

With these socks from the recycled range, you may not even need to get your needle out, as every sock has a small percentage of recycled polyester (from plastic bottles) and nylon (from fishing nets) to ensure they last as long as possible. The rest of the sock is made from cotton waste generated by the garment industry that would otherwise have gone to landfill.

Impressive credentials, and they look cool too.

We love Socko because this is proper ‘money where your mouth is’ stuff, not green wash from a fast fashion brand. How many other clothing makers want you to repair what you have instead of buying more? And we can’t think of a single other one who supplies you with the needle, thread and some instructions to make doubly sure you give darning the holes your best shot.

The hole in your sock might be a very small thing, but it represents a seismic shift in thinking and we’re happy to stand shoulder to shoulder, foot to foot, with them on this one.

A vertical ribbed unisex sock with naturally antimicrobial properties. Made in the UK from repurposed merino wool.

Sizes: small - UK 4-6 / EU 37-39; medium: UK 7-9 / EU 40-42; large: UK 10-12 / EU 43-45

Hand washing always advised but delicate machine washable up to 30°

82% Pre-consumer superwash merino wool waste, 18% Nylon
