Dove Greeting card
The dove is a symbol of peace and the fluid lines of this particular dove are truly soothing.
All of Scribble & Daub’s cards are beautiful - and they’re even more lovely in the hand than they are as a picture on a website. They are printed using a traditional letterpress method, with every design based on dip pen and ink drawings, then hand-painted.
For every Dove card sold, Scribble & Daub will donate 25p to Save The Children and Doctors Without Borders in recognition of their work in conflict zones, especially and currently, in Gaza.
Scribble & Daub is the both a business and a creative project, set up by illustrator Caroline Kent who wanted to create cards so lovely that they felt like a present in and of themselves.
The Dove card has twin donations to Save The Children and Doctors Without Borders. Caroline says: “It has never been more important to recognise our shared humanity and connection than in the dark weeks since the heinous attack on Israel on 7 October, and the subsequent horrific ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza. Our hearts have been broken day after day after day, and we have seen things we never thought we would see, and never wish to see again. We call on all nations to work together to ensure an immediate ceasefire, to protect and return all hostages in Gaza, Israel and the West Bank, to ensure International Law is always adhered to, and that those responsible for these atrocious war crimes are held accountable.”
Cards are 11.5 x 17cm and blank for your message.
