This recipe was invented on a Cornish beach, back in 1998 and way before adding a touch of salt to sweet tings took over the public consciousness. The Chocolate Detective, otherwise known as Chantal Cody, combines 40% cocoa milk chocolate with crystals from Scottish sea salt specialists Blackthorn. The chocolate is dusted with a light shimmer and then broken into shards. Perfect for a gift, or to enjoy in the kind of peaceful solitude you’d find during a windswept on the shore.

All of The Chocolate Detective’s range is either produced or sourced by founder Chantal Coady, a woman so committed to good chocolate that she’s been awarded with an OBE. This chocolate is one of Chantal’s original recipes and her knowledge and creativity shine through.
