Humans have been adding chilli to chocolate from the time of the Aztecs. Moving towards slightly more recent history, the makers of this Swiss-style hot chocolate are Harth who take their name from the Old English word for hearth. The chilli in this cup adds a kick of difference to the sweet and creamy flavours and Harth’s founders also say their inspiration comes from outdoors, so picture drinking this outdoors, looking up at the strange and wonderful constellations - just as humans have done for millennia.
As with all of Harth’s products, this drinking chocolate is handmade in small batches and the ingredients are organic, natural and responsibly sourced. It’s also vegan - but what milk you use is entirely up to you.
