Erno coasters

£29.00

The lines of these coasters echo those of the building they were made in, but you don’t need to be a modernist to love them. The natural material brings a softer, organic feel. The coasters are made from trees cut back to make way for development projects, wood donated by organisations who are refurbishing or from offcuts leftover from the studio’s bespoke furniture commissions.

Goldfinger Studios named themselves after the architect, Erno Goldfinger, who designed the building that houses their workshop (they’re at the foot of West London’s Trellick Tower). Now they’ve launched the Erno range, paying another homage to one of their design inspirations.

The design of the products produced by Goldfinger Studios is extremely high quality and absolutely matched by their craft skills.

We also appreciate their studio’s waste-reduction policies and the fact they train young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to their high standards of skill and proficiency.

Dimensions: 9cm x 9 cm

To take the best care of them, rinse them with warm water, wipe clean and dry immediately. Never put them in the dishwasher or leave soaking in water.

Every couple of months, feed with oil to protect the wood. Apply oil with a cloth and remove excess with a clean cloth and leave to dry for 48 hours. Do not over apply. Follow these guidelines and your coasters will have a long and happy life.
