In 2018, Lucia swam out into the sea and found that, in the face of nature, her worries became very small. She wanted other people to experience that feeling and dreamed up Luna + Fern to provide eco-friendly products to make those experiences easier and more fulffilling.
We are proud to be stocking their hammam towels, which we feel offer a genuine alternative to mcirofibre towels, and without any risk of plastic pollution. As a business, Luna + Fern are committed to remaining plastic-free in terms of both products and packaging.
They are also careful with the cotton that goes into their products: all of it is Oeko-tex certified. What’s Oeko? It’s the registered trademark and (needed) shorter name for the International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textiles and Leather. They are a body who confirm international ecological standards have been met at every stage of a fabric’s production.
Why they are different
Luna + Fern’s towels are simple, but not basic. Their patters are created in the UK and then the products are made by a small family business in Turkey who use traditional techniques, including hand-knotting the fringes

Seas and oceans are important to Luna + Fern, which is why they are members of the Surfers Against Sewage Network. That means that every purchase from their range helps the fight to clean up our oceans.
