Cheese biscuits with walnuts

£6.00
The crack of a biscuit. The creamy, earthy crunch of walnut pieces. The savoury tang of Old Winchester cheese, made at the Lyburn Farm on the edge of the New Forest. All together in one handmade cracker.

We could say these are great for when you have guests, alone or as part of a cheese board. We can also say that, truthfully, we have also stood by a plate of these and just quietly munched through several. They’re very more-ish.

These crackers are made for Different Kind by Step and Stone, a Bristol-based bakery who work with young adults who have learning disabilities.

We’re impressed by Step and Stone on a few levels. We love how good their products taste - and the fact that they take great care to source ingredients that are both local to them and of a very high quality - including organic flour from Gloucestershire and cold-pressed rapeseed oil from Somerset.

We also love the well-founded confidence they have in all of the young people they work with. Step and Stone know that good training in a supportive environment gives people with learning disabilities the opportunity to really flourish.

Ingredients: Wheat flour, butter, cheese (26%), walnuts (13%, baking power (raising agents: disodium diphosphate and sodium hydrogen carbonate; rice flour), smoked paprika, black pepper, sea salt, cayenne pepper.

For allergens see ingredients in bold. Our products are made in a kitchen that handles sesame seeds, nuts and eggs.
