Large seagrass dog basket - handmade

£75.00

There’s no reason your dog can’t sleep in something that has style, especially if it’s something even the most manic of pups will find difficult to destroy.

This dog bed from Maison Bengal is handmade from hardwearing jute, woven into a classic dog basket shape. It’s durable, but also light, meaning you can take it with you if you are travelling with your pet.

The natural fibres mean it will fit into any home. Now you us need to stop him chewing the sofa cushions.

We want our dogs to have the best. We also want houses that aren’t filled with rogue chewed up pieces of synthetic padding or shards of wicker (especially the wicker, if you’ve ever trodden on some you’ll know what we mean). This basket is a win for you and your furry mate.

The other winners are the women in Bangladesh who make them, using traditional craft skills to create these very contemporary products. All of Maison Bengal’s products are produced in conjunction with three fair trade organisations, using locally grown materials. They provide steady work, helping to lift women and their families out of poverty.

Maximum outside measurements used for shipping (includes the handles):

Length: 90cm

Width: 60cm

Height: 26cm

Inside measurements of basket:

Length: 80cm

Width: 58cm

All products are hand made so measurements may vary slightly.
