Each Iris Hantverk brush is handmade in Sweden or Estonia by a person with a visual impairment. The company has been running since 1870 and operating as a social enterprise since 2012. This isn’t just about creating jobs either, it’s about valuing traditional craft skills and appreciating the beauty of everyday objects.

On a practical note: we recommend you dry the brush hanging up or standing on the bristles to keep the more sensitive wood in good condition for longer.
