Luxurious Belgian Chocolate spread

£5.00

This isn’t a duplicate of Another Well Known Chocolate Spread. It’s very much it’s own thing, with the texture of just-soft butter.

It’s also very versatile - spread on toast (or croissants, for decadent days), drop it into porridge, heat it up and pour over ice cream or fruit or pancakes. Eat it standing in the kitchen with a spoon if you want to - we do.

All of Refuge’s profits are donated to Flourish NI, a charity that works with victims of human trafficking in Northern Ireland. So your small luxury is someone else’s hope.

The whole team here at Different Kind have tried and tested Refuge’s chocolate-based range. So weird that this was the tasting session literally everyone volunteered for. Huh.

Anyway, the results were unanimous. Tens across the board for Refuge and their founder and “chief potion maker” Tara. It’s delicious, this stuff.

We’re also really impressed by Tara’s dedication to Flourish NI - she set up Refuge whilst working as a volunteer for the charity purely because she wanted to raise more money.
