Mujeres de Columbia Coffee

£11.50
This beautiful single-origin coffee is grown by three incredible women, Aydy Ortiz, Lorena Munoz and Stefany Martinez, in the Huila region of Colombia. It’s silky smooth and naturally sweet with a balanced profile that works just as well for espresso as it does for filter.

Girls Who Grind sourced this through Amar Cafe Global, a Colombian-owned company that handles everything from sourcing to roasting to brewing. They invest directly in training and support, helping producers get the most from their coffees and keep more of the value, too.

As always, we’re here to champion women in coffee. While women make up the majority of the agricultural workforce, their work is too often undervalued and underpaid. We think it’s time that changed.

So here’s to celebrating women at every step from pickers to producers to roasters to brewers. And to excellent coffee while we’re at it.

About

Girls Who Grind Coffee

Girls Who Grind are an all-female coffee roastery based in the south-west, who exclusively buy coffee from female producers.

They sell a variety of coffee beans, roasting each batch in slightly different ways to best enhance the flavours. Their products are all single-origin, not blends, meaning each batch offers something new.
