Wool Blanket

£300.00

From sheep to sofa, with nothing rushed along the way.

These beautifully weighty blankets are made using the wool from a small flock of much-loved Gotland sheep. For over a year, Trill on the Hill have been designing and developing them, taking time to get the feel just right. The result is a lightly brushed finish that’s wonderfully soft to the touch, with the kind of warmth that makes you reach for it again and again on chilly days.

Every step happens close to home. Their sheep are reared and sheared on their land, their wool spun in Cornwall, then woven in Bristol at the renowned Bristol Weaving Mill. A touch of British wool is added for contrast, all reared and processed in the UK even the labels were printed in Wales. It doesn’t get much more local than this.

Because the flock is small, these blankets are too. Each one is a one-off do once they’re gone, they’re gone and we won’t be making the same designs again.

Soft, generous and made with an almost unreasonable amount of care. The kind of blanket that earns a permanent place on the sofa.

We love Trill On The Hill and their commitment to sustainable living, biodiversity and rewilding. Trill’s Tamsin and Lara are the daughters of Romy Fraser, who was one of the co-founders of Neal's Yard Remedies.
