Cornish Sea Salt Milk Chocolate Bar

£7.00

A bright hit of Cornish sea salt meets the deep, fudgy sweetness of Ghanaian milk chocolate. The salt is harvested on the Lizard peninsula, just down the road from Chocolarder's Falmouth factory, using traditional methods that capture the character of the coastline in every crystal.

Ghana’s cocoa has a story all of its own. It’s a source of national pride and one of the country’s biggest exports, yet much of it leaves the country long before it ever becomes chocolate. When Chocolarder visited the farming communities of Three Mountains Cocoa, they saw first-hand how Leslie has brought neighbouring chiefs and growers together to cultivate cocoa sustainably and sell into the quality market - a model that’s reshaping what Ghanaian cocoa can be.

Paired with our local Cornish sea salt, the chocolate’s natural fudge notes shine, balanced by a clean, mineral crunch that anchors the bar to where we’re based in a county almost wrapped by the sea and very much shaped by it.

All of Chocolarder’s products are exceptional. They smell good. They feel staisfying in the hand. They taste sensational. But we also really admire their way of working. All of their ingredients come from slavery-free sources and are often bought from plantations and farms who involve local communities, rather than exploiting them. Their products don’t contain palm oil. Chocolarder’s packaging is also plastic free. And they are a business who creates year-round jobs in Cornwall, an area of the UK that is very reliant on seasonal work.

Ingredients: Cocoa beans, unrefined sugar, milk powder and salt.
