Linen Tea Towel

The Clink’s bistro tea towel has been a firm favourite of ours for some time. Now there’s a new addition to the range: still keeping the classic design but made from 100% Irish linen. It’s a finer fabric, makes a wonderful gift and is great for glasses and delicate china.

This tea towel is part of the range served up by The Clink restaurants. The original Clink is based in HMP Brixton, with two more branches in HMP High Down and HMP Styal. Each one is fully staffed by the prisoners as part of a successful rehabilitation programme.

Made in Ireland, every tea towel purchased helps to fund students at The Clinks, buying workbooks, uniforms and more.

The Clink Restaurant at HMP Brixton is staffed entirely by the prisoners who are working towards gaining their City & Guilds NVQs in Food & Beverage Service, Professional Cookery and Food Hygiene. 

The standard of the food and the service is high and we’re keen to support such a positive project. Especially when we get tea towel based on a design classic.
