Working for Maison Bengal means women in rural Bangladesh have jobs that not only value traditional craft skills, but also can be done from home and fit around childcare. 

Sustainable chocolate makers Chocolarder source their beans from slave-free producers, use no plastic and are creating year-round jobs in Cornwall. 

Public Spirit believe in “good liquor, good times, and good deeds” and, for each bottle sold, they donate four-meals worth of money to food insecurity charities. 

National charity Camphill Village Trust support adults with learning disabilities and autism. They also support several of their service users “to discover unique skills and talents” and then to start creating. 

Alternatively, you may receive a Nordic cup from The One-Armed Potter. Gary Fulton who started working with clay in prison, via the LandWorks scheme. He now gives money and time back to the organisation to help other former prisoners find a new path.

The beans for Redemption Roasters’ coffee are roasted inside prisons, helping prisoners gain useful skills and lower reoffending rates. Former offenders are also employed in Redemption’s coffee shops.

Zaytoun is an ethical business established to support marginalised farming communities in Palestine. 

DifferentMade is our own brand where we collaborate with smaller producers. Our  piccalilli is made in conjunction with Aunty Val’s Ability Centre. Everything within their organisation has been designed to give people with disabilities the opportunity to work.The candles are produced by Real Inspiration who provide craft-based workshops and training in a therapeutic environment.

Food and Forest black pepper cashews - A mix of almonds, cashews, pecans and walnuts, smoked for 8 hours over mesquite, and then tumbled in a spice mix of cumin, cayenne pepper, english mustard powder, and brown sugar.

DifferentMade Forest Floor Large Green Candle - Our candles are handmade with essential oils (rosewood, pine needle, bergamot, cedarwood atlas, cypress, lime, patchouli) and sustainable rapeseed wax from Europe. They are phthalate and paraben free. They are vegan-friendly and nothing has been tested on animals. Each candle has a burn time of around 40 hours. They are 9.5cm in height and 8cm in diameter. The packaging is made in the UK and printed using vegetable inks.
