Working for Maison Bengal means women in rural Bangladesh have jobs that not only value traditional craft skills, but also can be done from home and fit around childcare. 

In India, Nila House works with communities of craftspeople to keep traditional skills alive and allow makers to earn a decent living from their work. 

The One-Armed Potter is the business name of Gary Fulton who started working with clay in prison, via the LandWorks scheme. He now gives money and time back to the organisation to help other former prisoners find a new path.

Goldfinger work with waste wood and are committed to working with young people who live near their studio, providing training and apprenticeships to those not currently in education or employment. 

For every Dove card sold, Scribble & Daub will donate 25p to Save The Children and Doctors Without Borders in recognition of their work in conflict zones, especially and currently, in Gaza.

Good & Proper Tea want to shake up the tea industry. By developing relationships with all of their suppliers they can address problems in each locality. 

From recycled fire hoses to offcuts from the luxury leather industry, Elvis & Kresse give an elegant second life to materials that would otherwise be wasted. 

National charity Camphill Village Trust support adults with learning disabilities and autism. They also support several of their service users “to discover unique skills and talents” and then to start creating.

Qasa Qasa work with artisans and craftspeople all over East Africa to preserve traditional skills and communities by helping makers to access new markets for their work. . 

The beans for Redemption Roasters’ coffee are roasted inside prisons, helping prisoners gain useful skills and lower reoffending rates. Former offenders are also employed in Redemption’s coffee shops. 

Makers of reusable and durable items, Ocean Bottle also partner with the charity Plastic Bank, who work with coastal communities to collect plastic. Every time an Ocean Bottle is sold, Plastic Bank receives a donation.

The natural green colour may fade slightly over time, with exposure to direct sunlight. The textile may carry subtle irregularities - this is a part of the beauty of handwoven textiles.  

One-Armed Potter Espresso Cups Made from stoneware clay with a food-safe glaze. Not dishwasher safe. Approx 7cm high, 8cm diameter.

Goldfinger Erno Coasters Dimensions: 9cm x 9 cm. To take the best care of them, rinse them with warm water, wipe clean and dry immediately. Never put them in the dishwasher or leave soaking in water. Every couple of months, feed with oil to protect the wood. Apply oil with a cloth and remove excess with a clean cloth and leave to dry for 48 hours. Do not over apply. Follow these guidelines and your coasters will have a long and happy life.
